Friday, July 24th:
11:00 AM - Theresa Ortega -- Theresa draws on her extensive experience in making presentations to thousands of people in business groups, trade associations, college crowds, and as a frequent guest on radio and TV shows analyzing handwriting “live,” Theresa will provide tips and insights on how you, too, can open the door to the various avenues available to promote yourself as a graphologist.
1:00 PM- Josh Batchelder – Josh Batchelder published Personality Profiling in 90 Seconds (2006), later he collaborated with Ernest Pecci, MD to publish two books about combining spontaneous wheel drawings with handwriting analyses. In this hands-on workshop each group will match a wheel drawing with a handwriting sample by the same scripter. The one-minute wheel drawing discloses how a person relates to others, expresses feelings, has self-image and is coping. |
For Saturday, July 25th
10:45 AM - Edda Manley -- Edda provides us with a new perspective of the handwriting of children today. Using the samples submitted to the Cursive is Cool handwriting contest over a period of several years, Edda is able to present patterns and issues that we see affecting their handwriting abilities, preferences, and choices made in the writing.
11:00 AM - Charles DeVries -- Another potential tool to add to our graphologist skill book can be expanded by partnering with and learning about the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Inventory (MBTI). Charles provided a basic introduction to the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory during AAHA’s March2020 Zoom Study Group. The video is available on AAHA’s website in the Member Section – Study Videos. For the Conference, Charles will share more in-depth information including sample writings that illustrate Myers-Briggs Type Inventory characteristics.
